In the latest meerkat TV instalment, Baby Oleg was left on the doormat of Meerkat Manor for Aleksandr and Sergei to find. So we left Baby Oleg on doormats up and down the country – for all our customers to find.
Our mailpack saw Customer Services receiving a number of complaints. From people who were upset they’d not received one! What’s more, those who did receive one were quick to show off on social media with videos of themselves opening and closing the packs. And those who couldn’t wait to get their hands on one, headed for eBay and paid prices in the region of £18 – a massive 4500% more than it cost us to make each pack.
And when the meerkats got up to all sorts looking round Baby Oleg's homeland, we had some fun with home insurance too.
